Early Music Summer Academy in Bertinoro
For the seventh consecutive year, we invite you to Bertinoro, to share with you the joy of making music together, to teach, to learn.
Bertinoro is one of those magical Italian villages where you are delighted not only by the natural beauty - it is on top of a hill, and comfortable shoes are recommended! - but also by the hospitality of the people and, last but not least, by the wonders of the Romagna cuisine that awaits you in every restaurant, in every osteria.
Days full of music
The first four days of the course will be dedicated to individual lessons: you will have time to study and also to collaborate in small chamber music groups. The teachers will listen to you and can give you precious advice. Is there a piece you would like to play in a group? Pack it in, and let's play it together!
Over the next three days, we will do two workshops: one orchestral, one vocal. That means we will play and sing side by side, teachers, and students, and we will also try to teach you a few 'tricks of the trade'. Other musicians from La Risonanza will also participate in these workshop, which will allow us to have all the parts covered, should anyone be missing!
During the week you will be able to listen to one lecture and various concerts performed by the teachers. Naturally, you will also play! After the first 4 days there will be a concert with solo or chamber music repertoire and, at the end of the course, the orchestral/vocal concert.
And a prize to be won!
In all these activities we will keep an eye on you - amicably, of course! - because in the course of the week, we will choose the one among you who seems to us to be the most mature, the readiest to tackle a solo or chamber concert experience in the next series of 'La Risonanza per Milano' concerts, a season in which he or she will, in fact, be invited to play.
